Lowsonford is a pretty village set on the Stratford Upon Avon Canal approximately 4 miles away from Henley-in-Arden in Warwickshire. The site is popular with boaters as it forms a part of the 'Avon Ring' which also takes in Evesham, Tewkesbury and Worcester.
The site is approximately 390m long and provides space for up to 16 boats moored against the towpath.

- To reach the site from Henley in Arden take the A4189 Warwick Road for approximately half a mile then turn left. Edge Lane becomes Henley Lane when the village of Lowsonford is reached approximately three miles from the main road. Cross the canal bridge on the south side of the village and the site car park is immediately on the right.

- There is a water point approximately 20 metres beyond the start of the mooring area (car park end), which is for the use of all boaters. The refuse compound is located with the car park area. The nearest facilities, including showers, toilets, Elsan and pump out, are at Lapworth Link, at Kingswood Junction, approximately two miles cruise away (8 locks) or a three mile drive.
The facilities listed are provided by and under the control of the local waterway, they do not form part of the mooring agreement.
The car park gate is fitted with a combination code padlock. There are approximately 6 parking spaces for boaters, but these cannot be guaranteed or reserved.
The nearest shops are in Henley-in-Arden, a three and a half mile drive away. There is a pub in Lowsonford village.
This is a leisure site and is determined by us to be a mooring site for the storage of boats between leisure use, customers may well spend weekends on this site, and occasionally longer periods, but it is not sold as, or intended to be suitable for long term residential use. This site does not have local authority planning consent for residential use, neither does it have the level of facilities and service expected of such a mooring. As such the offer that we have is only intended to meet the needs of a leisure boater.
