Hazelford Lock Moorings L1 Leisure

Hazelford Lock is located on a rural stretch the non-tidal River Trent approximately 13 miles to the north-east of Nottingham.

For boaters, the broad and fast-flowing River Trent is a clear contrast to the narrow network of canals that it connects to. The site is therefore suited to large vessels.

The site provides space for 2 vessels moored against the river wall on the lock approach.

Facilities Block housing toilets is located near the Lock. Waterpoints are positioned on the Lock Approach. The refuse disposal point is in the car parking area. This is a leisure site and is determined by us to be a mooring site for the storage of boats between leisure use, customers may well spend weekends on this site, and occasionally longer periods, but it is not sold as, or intended to be suitable for long term residential use. This site does not have local authority planning consent for residential use, neither does it have the level of facilities and service expected of such a mooring. As such the offer that we have is only intended to meet the needs of a leisure boater.
