Millwall Outer Dock London L1 Leisure

Millwall Outer Dock forms part of the 110 acre West India and Millwall Dock system on the Isle of Dogs in East London. The once thriving port which received goods from all over the world, the docks are now enjoying a new renaissance as a leisure destination in their own right.

Canary Wharf business and shopping district is located within 15 minutes' walk and the site is also well served by Docklands Light Railway providing easy access to Greenwich and into the City of London.

The moorings site is located on the eastern end of the dock and provides space for up to 13 boats moored alongside each other or directly against the Dock wall. The large open expanse of the dock is used by the Dockland Sailing and Watersport Centre.

Additional Information
There is a 32 amp metered electricity supply to each berth . There are black water connections at each berth but customers have to provide their own pump and hose connection. There is a shared fresh water tap although boats cannot rely on mains pressure and must have a good holding tank capacity. There is no car parking at the site but there is a public NCP car park within 5 minutes' walk. The adjacent quayside is a public right of way and some moorings are overlooked by commercial properties. The local site rules for this site dictate the type and style of boat suitable for this mooring site. Please note, narrowboats and some ex-commercial craft are not suitable. IMPORTANT NOTES: There are developments taking place in and around the surrounding area. Potential customers should be aware of the possible impact of these developments, i.e. dirt and dust, noise and construction traffic. In order to allow passage to the mooring the air draft of your boat must not exceed 8 metres. The draft of your vessel must not exceed 3 metres. This is a leisure site and is determined by us to be a mooring site for the storage of boats between leisure use, customers may well spend weekends on this site, and occasionally longer periods, but it is not sold as, or intended to be suitable for long term residential use. This site does not have local authority planning consent for residential use, neither does it have the level of facilities and service expected of such a mooring. As such the offer that we have is only intended to meet the needs of a leisure boater. What3Words: ///famed.took.brain
