Burscough Bridge moorings are set within the heart of this lovely small town on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal about half way between Liverpool and Preston.
The mooring site is close to amenities including a good selection of restaurants, shops and pleasant walking routes into the delightful west Lancashire countryside. Good road and rail links also provides convenient access to the coast and other parts of the North West of England.

- Facilities, including water, elsan, refuse and toilets, are available on the other side of bridge 32a. The facilities block and waste bins are provided by and under the control of the local waterway, they do not form part of the mooring agreement”
Mooring rings are installed along the site but mooring pins may be needed dependent on boat length and spacing of rings.
There are no car parking facilities at this site so moorers must make their own arrangements.
This is a leisure site and is determined by us to be a mooring site for the storage of boats between leisure use, customers may well spend weekends on this site, and occasionally longer periods, but it is not sold as, or intended to be suitable for long term residential use. This site does not have local authority planning consent for residential use, neither does it have the level of facilities and service expected of such a mooring. As such the offer that we have is only intended to meet the needs of a leisure boater.
