The historic town of Devizes is within 10 minutes' walk and provides a good range of shopping, restaurants, pubs and other attractions such the Wadworth Brewery and Wiltshire Museum.
The mooring site is within a small layby and accommodates up to 15 narrowboats moored against GRP finger pontoon berths.

- Additional Information
- There are moorings cleats fitted at each side of the fingers running off the main pontoon ramp. There is a bollard supplying electricity and a tap for drinking water fitted at each pontoon. The electricity bollards installed here are prepay Smartmeters.
The pump-out is at the far end of the pontoons. The refuse disposal point and elsan are within the car park area. There are also recycling bins for glass, paper and cans within the compound. These facilities are not a dedicated facility for the Devizes Flight mooring customers, as they are open for use by passing boats, as well as for other canal users.
The car park adjacent to the Canal & River Trust offices is primarily for the use of CRT staff and visitors during the hours of 7am and 6pm. Spaces here cannot be used by mooring customers during operational hours. However, there is a large pay & display car park towards the top of Caen Hill Lock Flight on the off-side of the canal, which is accessed via Marsh Lane. Customers are issued with a CP PLUS parking permit for this car park, it is not valid for the small car park by the CRT offices.
This is a leisure site and is determined by us to be a mooring site for the storage of boats between leisure use, customers may well spend weekends on this site, and occasionally longer periods, but it is not sold as, or intended to be suitable for long term residential use. This site does not have local authority planning consent for residential use, neither does it have the level of facilities and service expected of such a mooring. As such the offer that we have is only intended to meet the needs of a leisure boater.
