The pretty village of Marsworth was established around the Grand Union Canal and lies just two miles to the north of Tring in Hertfordshire. The Canal & River Trust manages 18 moorings, located on both sides of the canal at the junction with the Aylesbury Arm.
Nearby there are a number of interesting sights and attractions including Whipsnade Zoo, Waddesdon Manor, the Tring Zoological Museum as well as some fine circular walks and nature trails.
The leisure moorings are 220 metres long and provide space for up to 13 vessels moored against the towpath.

- Additional Information
- Facilities can be found 50 metres away, adjacent to Bridge 31. The facilities are for the use of all boaters. These services are provided by and under the control of the local waterway, they do not form part of the mooring agreement.
There is no designated car parking at this site so moorers must make alternative arrangements. There is a Pay and Display visitors car park at Startops Reservoir nearby.
The towpath is partly tarmac and partly packed stone. It can be prone to ponding in winter months.
There is a pub and a tea room within walking distance of the moorings.
This is a leisure site and is determined by us to be a mooring site for the storage of boats between leisure use, customers may well spend weekends on this site, and occasionally longer periods, but it is not sold as, or intended to be suitable for long term residential use. This site does not have local authority planning consent for residential use, neither does it have the level of facilities and service expected of such a mooring. As such the offer that we have is only intended to meet the needs of a leisure boater.
