Kingswood Junction is an interesting part of the canal network near Lapworth in Warwickshire. It is the meeting place of the Stratford-Upon-Avon Canal and the Grand Union Canal.
In the vicinity there are some good local pubs, two interesting National Trust properties and excellent walking trails.
In total the Trust provides 38 permanent moorings - 8 along the line of the canal on the off-side bank and a further 30 within a small secure basin at the bottom of the Lapworth Lock Flight.

- To reach the site from the M40, junction 16, take the A3400 to Hockley Heath. Turn right onto the B4439, Old Warwick Road, and then right again into Brome Hall Lane. Turn left into the Canal & River Trust staff car park. From there, walk between the buildings where you will see a canal bridge.

- These off-side linear moorings are divided into two sections by the railway bridge.
The facilities block (housing a toilet & a shower), is located opposite these moorings, by the Lapworth Link picnic area, this is where you will also find the pump-out, elsan and a water point. There is a refuse compound located at the top of the car park, to the left, as you enter the CRT yard off Brome Hall Road. These facilities are not a dedicated for the Kingswood Basin/Kingswood Junction mooring customers, as they are open for use by passing boats, as well as other canal users.
A small car park area (max 12 cars) is within the nearby Canal & River Trust workshop complex. Spaces in this car park are on a first come, first served basis so cannot be guaranteed or reserved. Parking is also available within the wooded area, near the picnic spot.
The nearby facilities listed are provided by and under the control of the local waterway, they do not form part of the mooring agreement.
There are two pubs and a convenience store in Lapworth Village, which is within a 10 minute walk of the moorings. Further services and facilities are a short can be found a short drive away in Hockley Village.
This is a leisure site and is determined by us to be a mooring site for the storage of boats between leisure use, customers may well spend weekends on this site, and occasionally longer periods, but it is not sold as, or intended to be suitable for long term residential use. This site does not have local authority planning consent for residential use, neither does it have the level of facilities and service expected of such a mooring. As such the offer that we have is only intended to meet the needs of a leisure boater.
