Hawkesbury Junction L1 Leisure

The picturesque Hawkesbury Junction - known locally as Sutton Stop - was constructed in 1802. One of the busiest canal junctions in the country, this is where the Coventry Canal meets the Oxford Canal in Warwickshire.

The linear mooring site is situated on the Oxford Canal. Approximately 210m long it provides spaces for up to 9 vessels moored on the off-side bank.

The site is protected by fencing and a padlocked gate. Keys are available to berth holders only for a refundable deposit of 50 pounds. Deposits will be refunded when keys are returned with a valid receipt.

This is a leisure site and is determined by us to be a mooring site for the storage of boats between leisure use, customers may well spend weekends on this site, and occasionally longer periods, but it is not sold as, or intended to be suitable for long term residential use. This site does not have local authority planning consent for residential use, neither does it have the level of facilities and service expected of such a mooring. As such the offer that we have is only intended to meet the needs of a leisure boater. What3Words: ///speeds.chop.booth
